Child rapist serving four life sentences wants $1million compensation for wrongful murder conviction

 

Michael Blair is a confessed child rapist, serving four life sentences. Still, he’s asking the Texas Supreme Court to order the state to compensate him for some of the years he spent on death row for a rape and murder he didn’t commit.

It’s not the first time Blair has asked the state for hundreds of thousands of dollars — he’s been turned down repeatedly.

But the state’s highest court has been considering his latest request since hearing oral arguments in October.

The latest request has outraged state officials and even some of those who advocate for exonerees, like Cory Session, policy director for the Innocence Project of Texas. Click below for full story -

    What is the world coming to when a rapist can apply for compensation!

    He should be sent to jail for life for the crimes he has committed.

    What about compensating all the children he has molested?
