Chinese man seeking overdue wages kills himself, injures 7 in explosion

A man in south China’s Guangdong Province killed himself and injured seven others in an explosion Friday when seeking overdue wages, police said.
The public security bureau in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong, said in a statement that local police received a report of the explosion at a residential community at about 3:53 p.m. Friday.
An initial investigation showed the man came to demand the payment of overdue wages from a company located at the residential quarter Friday afternoon. Click below for full story -

Really sad that someone was driven to suicide over unpaid wages
I would be very surprised if the chinese authorities didn’t do something about this
If this is true the owners of the company should face the death penalty because someone has died because of them
The injuries looked pretty bad. I hope everyone makes a full recovery
Do employee’s rights even exist in china? I hope they do and the government takes strong action against this company if the reports are true
Shocking that the only option this guy had left was to take his own life. Hopefully his family will be looked after
So many other people were injured in this incident. Surely there was a better way for him to vent his anger at the company, which didnt hurt other innocent people

China seems to be doing more for human rights as the countries wealth increases.
Hopefully now this company will be held accountable for their actions
