KFC forced into grovelling apology after telling people to go home and order a bucket of chicken during yesterdays Asian earthquake

KFC in Thailand have been forced to issue a grovelling apology after been criticised for a message posted on their Facebook page urging people to rush home during Wednesday’s Tsunami scare and order a bucket of KFC chicken.

Whilst most people were panicking and evacuating low lying beach areas KFC decided to say ”Let’s hurry home and follow the earthquake news. And don’t forget to order your favorite KFC menu.”

Hundreds of angry comments immediately started flowing KFC’s way from a variety of Thai web forums slating the insensitive and selfish statement made.

The message was finally removed on Thursday and replaced by one that asked for forgiveness.

Five people have been reported to have died after Wednesdays earthquake suffering heart attacks with several more injured.
