Anzi, who has 5,700 Twitter followers, was expected to appeal, the lawyer, who asked not to be named, told Reuters. Click below for full story -

Remind me to never go to Kuwait
He should have known better.
We all know freedom of speech doesn’t exist in the arab world.
Freedom of speech ….. Oh wait thats not allowed?
Shocking!
How can this guy complain about his sentence. Everyone knows in the middle east you cant say what you think. You have no rights there and are a slave to the ruler or king.
What happens if you live in America and tweet something about bad about another country?
If you then go to that country could you get arrested?
Or do the laws not apply as the tweet was made in America and not the country?
Fuck know Mia - just don’t ever show to a shit hole like Kuwait
I would have thought that social media was banned in those kind of countries anyway - all they do is suppress their people.
Freedom of speech only exists in open liberal democratic countries!
Who cares about Kuwait anyway
If the lawyer did not want to be names the whole story could be made up by another country for propaganda purposes.
I don’t think anyone cares about kuwait anyway
Im guessing a jail is Kuwait isn’t that nice then….
Rosie, no jail should be nice. They should all be tough.
Jails in the middle east should be the same as anywhere in the world!
