Suspected terrorist taunts U.S. by laughing at $10Million bounty

The suspected mastermind behind the attack on India’s financial capital Mumbai in 2008 that killed 166 people including six Americans has taunted the US by openly wandering across Pakistans military garrison town of Rawalpindi and claiming the $10million bounty on his head is ‘laughable’.

U.S. authorities have placed a bounty of up to $10 million on Hafiz Saeed. He told a news conference a mere 40minute drive from the American Embassy in Islamabad ‘Here I am in front of everyone, not hiding in a cave.’

In Washington, U.S. officials said the decision to offer the $10 million reward under the State Department’s long standing “Rewards for Justice” program came after months of discussions among U.S. agencies involved in counter-terrorism.
