Tesco suffer embarrassing Twitter fail after falling for ‘Red Rum’ joke

Tesco failed to see the funny side of a joke from one mischievous Twitter userfollowing the discovery of horse meat in its value beefburgers.

The Food Safety Authority revelations have left consumers outraged, with horse meat accounting for almost a third of content in one burger sampled from Tesco.

Horse jokes have hardly been in short supply following the investigation; however Tesco took it upon itself to create one more after responding to one Twitter user’s request for ‘red rum’. Click below for full story -
