The Pope tweets for the first time blessing his online followers

At 10.30am GMT on Wednesday, Benedict XVI, 85, sent his his first 140-character “pearl of wisdom” from his iPad via his official account@pontifex.
The message, in which he said “I bless all of you from my heart”, was retweeted more than 9,000 times in the first 15 minutes, and “favourited” more than 2,500 times.
Less than an hour later, he tweeted again, asking his followers “How can we celebrate the Year of Faith better in our daily lives?” Click below for full story -
