Woman dies after injecting heroin contaminated with Anthrax
A heroin user in Medway has died after being diagnosed with an anthrax infection.
The person is said to have died by injecting contaminated heroin, and is the third death to have hit England since June.
Anthrax infections have popped up across Europe recently, although it is unclear whether the Kent death is related to cases in Europe.
The situation will be closely monitored by the authorities, and advice is being handed out to users of the drugs about the risk of anthrax. Click below for full story -
